Munroe Falls, OH – Amy Ruman and Niki Ruman will both be driving this weekend at the SCCA National at Watkins Glen International, NY.
Amy Ruman will be trying to score her fourth win of the season at this weekend’s race, driving the #23 McNichols/Goodyear Corvette.“Watkins Glen is my favorite track, but I have not won here yet. The car has been strong all season so I am really going to push for the win this weekend,” commented Ruman.
Niki Ruman will be driving her #23 McNichols/Dynasty Motorsports Spec Racer for the third time this season after competing in the May Nationals at Summit Point and Nelson Ledges. “I am really happy to get back in the car again this weekend. The Glen is one of my favorite tracks and we always have great competition in SRF which will make for a fun race,” stated Ruman.
The sisters will test on Friday; have two qualifiers on Saturday, and race on Sunday with Amy in Group 5 and Niki in Group 7, the last race of the day.
Amy Ruman is currently leading the GT-1 Northeast Division in the points chase.
