September 16, 2003 – Ruman Racing Update

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, OH – Amy Ruman had a slight setback in the first qualifying session of the Runoffs.
Just as she was finishing the second lap of qualifying, the bolt broke on the harmonic balancer. Luckily the incident happened at pit-in, so she was able to duck into the pits.
Although she was only able to log one timed lap, which was more of a warm-up lap, she is on the qualifying charts in 17th position.
The next qualifying session is Wednesday afternoon at 4:15.
