Munroe Falls, OH – Amy Ruman and Ruman Racing announce plans to compete in the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series and SCCA GT-1 National venues. Ruman returns to Trans-Am competition in 2010, driving her trademark red #23 McNichols Co./Goodyear/Cenweld Chevrolet Corvette. The team has stepped up the power plant under the hood this year – opting to run the larger engine, at 358 cubic inches, in most of the races this season.

This weekend, May 7-9, will be Ruman’s first time at the Thunderbolt New Jersey Motorsports Park track. She will take to the track for the test day on Friday, but Ruman will miss the Saturday practice sessions due to a prior commitment. She will be back for the Sunday morning qualifying session and the Trans-Am race that will start approximately at 3:00 pm, the last race of the day.
