September 20, 2005 – Amy Ruman put down a fast time of 1:24.345 in this morning’s qualifying session at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs. This places Ruman third on the grid in GT-1, just 4 one-hundreths of a second behind second place. Lew Larimer was first with a 1:24.071 and Trevor Hopwood second with 1:24.341 and Bryan Long was fourth with 1:25.350.
This is the first of three qualifying sessions for Saturday’s race. The next two sessions will be Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
