Munroe Falls, OH – Amy Ruman and the team will rejoin the SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series for Round 3 at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) as part of the Bosch Engineering Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Weekend.
VIR’s event begins Friday with a practice session at 11:55 am, followed by practice session 2 Saturday morning at 9:50 am and Trans-Am qualifying will take place Saturday evening at 6:15 pm. Drivers will have a warm-up session Sunday morning at 10:05 am and the 100 mile/31-lap race will start at 1:30 pm.
“I am really excited about the weekend. I like this track a lot and they always draw a big crowd. Last year at VIR I ran in 3rd for the majority of the race, and then we suffered a heart breaker when I endured a mechanical failure with 3 laps to go in the race. I am looking forward to a strong race this weekend and hopefully putting the #23 McNichols/Goodyear/Cenweld Corvette back on the podium this weekend,” commented Ruman.
