Amy and Bob Ruman Last Minute Entries for the Firecracker Double National at Nelson Ledges

Munroe Falls, OH - Amy and Bob Ruman altered their Independence Day weekend schedule and decided at the last minute to go racing. They will compete in the Firecracker Double National this weekend at the team’s home track - Nelson Ledges Raceway, Ohio. Bob will run Niki’s #23 McNichols Co. Spec Racer and Amy will run the #23 McNichols Co./Goodyear/Cenweld Corvette in GT-1.
“Since I didn’t finish the June Sprints a few weeks ago, I still need one more National race finish to qualify for the Runoffs in September,” explained Amy Ruman. “Hopefully we will get a finish and a win this weekend!” If everything goes as planned, Amy will run only the Saturday race.
Bob Ruman will climb back in the #23 McNichols Co./Dynasty Motorsports Spec Racer for both races, Saturday and Sunday. “Since we were coming out for Amy this weekend, I figured I might as well go have some fun too,” laughed Bob. “I really enjoy running the Spec Racer.”
